Apple iPhone 12 to be manufactured in India said Apple manufacturer Wistron will hire over 10,000 local Indian employees for the production. 2000 employees have been hired until now.

Apple's Taiwanese manufacturer has started hiring locals for the production of the iPhone 12 in India. Made in India iPhones 12 will be out for sale at the beginning of 2021.
The report says Wistron will be investing over 3,000 crores in India to ramp up the efforts for the local production of iPhones.
The production of the iPhone will in the Narasapura plant in Karnataka. Wistron was allotted approximately 43 acres of the land by the Karnataka Industrial Areas Development Board. The company has already hired the local employees for production and supposed to hire over 8,000 more local employees.
New Indian Express said that the hiring will take place in phase manner. Walk-in interviews of diploma and graduates are being conducted. The company is hiring people with experience as well as freshers.
Wistron has started the production for trail only, said that by the end of September it will start commercial production of iPhones in Narasapura. Apple is going to expand the manufacture of iPhones in India than it was manufacturing in China.
